Hey y’all! Let me tell you about this amazing senior portrait session I recently had the pleasure of shooting for Annie in Spring, TX. It was such a fun and memorable experience, and I’m excited to share how we made it all happen.

Annie had this fabulous idea for her senior session. She wanted to mix it up with floral, beach, and field settings to showcase her vibrant personality. Now, if there's one thing I love, it's bringing a creative vision to life, and Spring, TX has some real gems that fit the bill perfectly. I know all the best spots around here!

We started with a questionnaire to get a feel for Annie's style and ideas. Then, we had several chats to discuss everything—from locations and wardrobe to poses and the products she was interested in. This early planning helps everyone feel confident and excited about how the photos will turn out.

We picked three stunning locations in Spring,TX

For Annie's session, we picked three stunning locations in Spring,TX that were close to each other. First up was Mercer Botanic Gardens for an elegant floral back drop. Next, we moved to the peaceful Cypress Creek beach area. The cool sand and the reflections on the water gave a calm and relaxed vibe—perfect for those dreamy shots. Finally, we headed to a sprawling field at sunset. We were lucky to run into a patch of sunflowers too!

That golden hour light was absolutely magical!

I always make sure to stay in touch with my clients before the session, sending helpful emails to help them relax and feel prepared. During the shoot, I use natural posing techniques so they look their best and feel comfortable. By the time I’m editing the images, folks are already looking forward to picking out their favorites for prints, cards, and albums.
