There was something incredibly special about photographing this sweet family of 9—especially when that family includes busy toddlers, seven unique personalities, and parents who hold it all together with so much love.
This recent session at Good Vibe Farm in Spring, TX was the perfect reminder of how beautiful (and genuinely fun) big family photos can be when you embrace the energy that comes with 7kids, wide open spaces, and even a few friendly farm animals in the background.
As a Spring, Texas family photographer, I truly love working with larger families. When it’s one connected big-family unit like this, the storytelling becomes even more meaningful—because every interaction is layered with shared history, inside jokes, and deep-rooted connection.
The sun settled softly over the farm that afternoon, wrapping the fields in golden light. The air felt calm, almost still… but this family brought the most beautiful kind of motion.
Seven children.
Two steady, loving parents.
Busy toddlers with curious hearts.
Older siblings full of laughter and quiet leadership.
This wasn’t just a photo session.
It was a glimpse into their everyday magic—documented in motion, preserved in light, and held forever in a single frame.
For a large family like this, the experience matters just as much as the final images.
When you’re coordinating a family of 9 with 7 kids—including busy toddlers—you need more than just someone to take the picture. You need thoughtful preparation, wardrobe guidance, and a photographer who knows how to create space for connection so it unfolds naturally at Good Vibe Farm in Spring, TX.
Here’s what a recent family shared after their session:
"Lauren is my go-to photographer. She has taken our portraits for the past 4 years and will continue to do so in the future! We have always done mini sessions in the past and been amazed at what she can make happen in such a short amount of time. This time around, we decided to do the family experience—it is going to be hard to go back to a shorter session after this!
Prior to the session, Lauren interviewed us to match our family to the perfect venue. She also sent wardrobe options, complete with links to order—so convenient. My favorite thing about this is that I am plus-size and have a difficult time with fit. Lauren shopped my favorite brand and found a dress that worked perfectly.
Having that space allowed for us to have a wardrobe change and just to feel comfortable. When we left the session, my whole family agreed we had a great time and that Lauren has a talent for making us all feel beautiful.
I have seen a few sneak peeks, but cannot wait to see the full gallery—thank you, Lauren!"
This is always the goal.
Not just beautiful images—but families who feel confident before they arrive, relaxed during their session, and deeply connected when they see their gallery.
Because when you feel prepared and comfortable, the love shows up effortlessly in your photos.
In a family with 7kids, there are layers of connection.
The oldest instinctively helping the youngest.
Middle siblings whispering secrets and sharing inside jokes.
Hands brushing as they walk through the pasture at Good Vibe Farm.
There were moments when I simply stepped back.
The kids forgot about the camera. They chased each other through the field. They leaned on the fence watching the animals. They huddled together, laughing over something only they understood.
That’s the heart of a bigfamily session in Spring Texas—not stiff smiles, but shared history.
These siblings are growing up together. Their bond is being built in everyday chaos, bedtime routines, shared bedrooms, and moments just like this one under the Texas sunset.
Even though this was one single family unit, a family of 9 qualifies for an Extended Family Session due to group size.
Extended sessions include:
These sessions are intentionally structured to allow enough time so no one feels rushed—even with toddlers.
